Description

Notes: From a collection of shells made by Dr. Crosbie, who was doctor to the "Challenger" Expedition. Two specimens. Petunculus moved to genus Pectunculus Lamarck, 1799 and then to Tucetona Iredale, 1931. However, Petunculus australis is now accepted as Glycmeris grayana (Dunker, 1857). The specimen needs re-examining to determine the current species.
