Description

Notes: Pre-printed label with specimen in spirit states "Challenger" Expedition" and "Pres. by Brit. Mus: Nov.99." A pencil handwritten inscription states "Waldheimia flavescens/ Pt Jackson, Sydney, Shallow water"; and the pencil number "24" and date, "3.6.74". This number refers to an entry in the Perth Museum Accession register for 1899, ref: 1899.54.40 which states the same detail and that the specimen came from "shallow water".
