Notes: A torn green framed label, has part of an handwritten ink inscription - "..9 R.N.D. Chal./ ...ina/ nodulosa, Ios/ .. Michael's Rock./ Fernando Noronhou// Chall. Expedition". A Pre-printed label states "Challenger" Expedition" and "Pres. by Brit. Mus: Nov.99." The handwritten pencil inscription states "Littorina nodulosa.?Forb./ St.Michel's Rock. Fernando/Noronha". The description matches the donated specimen from the British Museum, number 35, in the Accession Register 1884-1901. The "No 609" written in the top RH corner, refers to the entry in the Catalogue of the Conchological Collections in the Perth Museum, by Henry Coates, FSA, dated 1925.
