Description

Notes: Two of a collection of shells made by Dr. Crosbie, who was doctor to the "Challenger" Expedition. There is no mention that the voyage specifically visited the Solomon Islands (though it was in the plans beforehand). However, they passed nearby so it is still possible the specimens were collected in this time.
