Notes: Specimen in Dent's collar box. Handwritten label accompanying specimen reads "Camiguin Volcano.". Another handwritten label reads "Camiguin Volcano Philippines.". The latter is written on a scrap of paper torn from a ship's log book, with headings "Date,", "Longitude," and "Bottom Temperature," on one side, and "Species observed.", "No. of Specimens living." and "No. of Specimens dead." on the reverse.
