Notes: [One of] Nineteen Bird Skins which almost certainly were collected by Dr Alex. Crosbie, Staff-Surgeon on the "Challenger" during the Challenger Expedition, but lack evidence connecting them conclusively with the "Challenger". Male. This was labelled as E. australis and so it needs to be identified to check that E. australis and E. orientalis are the same species.
