Description

Notes: Two long thin specimens attahced to black card in a rectangular glass jar. A black label with white wrting is attached to a brown piece of material tied around the top of the jar. The label is partly broken, so information about the name has been lost. The specimens are off white in colour and look material-like. Attached to the jar is a black label with a red rim and white writing. Half of this label is missing. It says 'napla I nerife, Canary Iles.' Typed in black ink on off white paper is 'From Trustees, Brit. Mus. "Challenger Coll"'. Hand written in pencil on off-white paper is 'Synaptidae Tenerife Chall Coll.' There is no liquid left in the jar and the specimens are completely dry. The specimens are still attached to the board inside the jar. The lid is attached to the top of the jar.
