Description

Notes: Uspallata Pass Chilian Andes 12 500 feet eln'; 'Occurs abundantly in large rounded masses in rocks of a different colour on the Uspallata Pass. Chilian Andes. Reminded me in appearance somewhat of the large masses of olivine occurring in basalt in the Ardeche valley.'
