Notes: 1cm round specimen box containing 3 pairs of minute molluscs. Blue framed label on outer box states "986" and "Chal. Exped./Carditellona torresi. Sm!"/ "West of Cape York. 10 fms". The specimen box bears the inscriptions: "Chall. St.188. Sep 10/74". "Cardillella torresi. Sm" and "W. of C.York D9 Fm". The red ink number '217' is written in the centre of this inscription. The reverse side of this small round box has the red ink "P.100" number. These numbers cannot be linked to any existing numbering system. The ink number (986) refers to an entry in the Catalogue of the Conchological Collections in the Perth Museum, by Henry Coates, FSA, dated 1925.
