Whale tooth (Mesoplodon layardii (Strap-toothed whale tooth))

Description

Notes: Right tooth, sectioned. Juvenile (immature), probably Female [was washed up in Port Sussex, East Falkland Island, late 1875]. Collected by H.N. Moseley. Challenger specimen C (See citation) when they visited the Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, shortly after.
